Belle’s Implements is a small family business named in honor of our daughter, Scarlett Belle Jernigan. She was born with Familial Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis in 2016. This amazing daughter of ours worked hard to stay with us through years of struggles, and two bone marrow transplants. The second, and successful, one took place on March 10, 2021, so on the 1-year anniversary I, as her dad, decided if we were going to do this, paying a tribute to her would be appropriate. If the spirit of our entrepreneurial journey were a fraction as strong as Scarlett, this would all be a success for the family, the community, clients, and our partner manufacturers’. Thus, we officially began on March 10, 2022, and the business was born.

My name is Ben.  I grew up on a family farm with some row crop, hay & forage, cattle, and horses. As a kid, I watched my grandfather (Papa) implementing several non-typical methods of intervention regarding pests, weeds, fertility, and a desire for soil health for the betterment of us all. After many years of working for some wonderful family dealerships selling more mainstream equipment (tractors, hay equipment, construction, etc.) I really wanted to have something different for us. So, with a leap of faith and timing with the forementioned, we waded into the deep end of the pool.

Our first responsibility is for the best service we can provide for our customers that trust Belle’s Implements for solutions to be efficient, high quality, and easy to operate. Every line of equipment we have taken on offers those four components. We offer many solutions, from precision seeding/nutrition application with APV, a worldwide leader with pneumatic seeders, and OrganiLock Soil Food offering products and support not seen in this region of Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, and Tennessee. We hope, if we have products that offer a solution for your operation, that you give us the chance to show you why our customers have been pleased with not just their equipment purchases, but the level of service we provide for your investment.
